Manchester United investigating a move for Tottenham Hotspur striker Heung-min Son

Tottenham reportedly face a major challenge in their efforts to keep hold of star striker Son Heung-min, whose future at the club is becoming increasingly uncertain.

The 32-year-old South Korean’s contract with Spurs is set to expire at the end of the current season, meaning he could potentially leave the club on a free transfer next summer unless a new deal is agreed.

Sean has been a key figure for the club since joining in 2015, establishing himself as one of the premier strikers in the Premier League.

His leadership on and off the pitch, combined with his consistent performances, have made him a fan favorite and an important player for the team.

One of Tottenham Hotspur’s Premier League rivals is now plotting a move for their star striker.

According to TranscriptsMan United are exploring a move for the Tottenham Hotspur player with his long-term future at the club still undecided.

Spurs have the option to sign a one-year deal which will see Son remain at the club. They are in a stronger position to keep the player and Ange Postecoglou would be keen to keep Son at the club due to his leadership and goalscoring qualities.

The South Korean scored for Spurs against Chelsea in their 4-3 defeat on Sunday, but they could have won the match if he had taken some of the chances he had in the match.

Manchester United have a habit of signing experienced attacking players

The 32-year-old is past his prime but is still one of the best and most experienced players in the Premier League and his addition could be vital for Ruben Amorim and his team.

Man United have signed experienced strikers in recent years such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Wout Weghorst and Edinson Cavani and Son could be the latest to be that player.

The Red Devils were is being linked with a move for Sporting striker Victor Gokeres and more than Sean, he would suit the style of play of the Premier League giants.
