Trump only began her journey as co-chair in March and played a crucial role in Republicans regaining control of the Senate while retaining a slim majority in the House of Representatives.
There is talk that she could be considered as a replacement for Florida Sen. Marco Rubio as Trump has said he will be selected as the next Secretary of State.
Last month, she told Fox News’ Sean Hannity that she would “love to serve the people of Florida” and “would happily consider” filling the seat if asked.

Trump spoke on Sunday Howard Kurtz what an honor it would be to even be considered.
“Certainly, over the past nine years, we have all had the opportunity to fully engage in politics, to understand the American people and what they want, and we have all been residents of the State of Florida for more than three years now . she said. “If that is something that is presented to me, it would be a real honor.”

Maye Musk, mother of Tesla CEO Elon Musk, is among many pushing for her to replace Rubio.
“The Senate is an old men’s club. We desperately need a smart, young, outspoken woman who will reveal their secrets,” she posted on X. Lara Trump is 42.

Elon Musk apparently agrees with his mother’s sentiments when he responded to her X-post saying, “Lara Trump is really great.”
Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., said on “Hannity” that he would be “over-the-top excited” and that Republicans “couldn’t do better… than Lara Trump.”
Ultimately, the governor of Florida. Ron DeSantiswho is reportedly being considered to replace Pete Hegseth will choose Rubio’s replacement.
