“It’s not an easy journey, but being angry doesn’t do anything for anybody,” Kramer, 41, exclusively said Us Weekly at iHeartRadio 102.7 KIIS FM’s Jingle Ball on Friday, December 6. “It does nothing for me. I want us all to get along, and at the end of the day, the children are the most important things to all of us.”
Kramer and Kosen, 37, were married between 2015 and 2021. Together they share daughter Jolie, 8, and son Jace, 5. (Kramer later welcomed son Roman in November 2023 with her husband Alan Russell.)
“I don’t have to like him, but I’d like us all to like him to be able to copy okay,” said Kramer, wearing a Revolve look with Emma Willis glitter us on Friday. “Our relationship is better now than our marriage ever was. It’s because we’ve collectively been able to put the past in the past and really focus on the present and our children.”
She added: “I don’t have time to be angry. I don’t have time for suffocation. I could hate him, but for what? For example, why? It only hurts the children.”
Kramer too praised Russell, 43, for being ‘amazing’ to make sure all parties understand each other. (Russell, a Scottish football coach, is also the parent of a teenage son with a former partner.)
“I think it’s important,” Russell said Friday, joining Kramer on the red carpet. “You’re never going to make everyone happy in a co-parenting situation. It’s just acknowledging the fact that it’s never going to be perfect, but everyone’s doing their best.”
Kramer and Russell they were married in Julya few months after the birth of Roman.
“We’ve got each other’s backs,” Russell, who wore AllSaints and Prada gear to the music festival, gushed about what makes their relationship special. “And the fact that she is ridiculously beautiful and the most beautiful woman on this planet. We know we are there for each other. We always want the best for each other.”
Kramer agreed, noting that she has and gets so much respect by her husband.
“There is so much trust and safety in that. I’ve never felt that good before,” she said, calling married life “beautiful and amazing.”
As Kramer and Russell settle into their new routines, One Tree Hill alum is currently ruling out another baby.
“I would love to do it, but I don’t think I could, given the losses I’ve had in the past and how hard this pregnancy has been on my body, it happens,” Kramer said usreferring to her previous miscarriages. “I think we were blessed with a very healthy and happy baby. Even though I would like to and have been trying to convince him, I just don’t know if my body can handle another one. If God has other plans, we’ll see, but for now it’s a no.
