President-elect Donald Trump said Sunday that he was not happy with FBI Director Christopher Wray his house invaded during an interview on “Meet the Press.”

“He invaded my house. I’m suing the country about it. He invaded Mar-a-Lago. I’m very unhappy about the things he’s done. And crime is at an all-time high. Migrants are pouring into the country. prisons and coming out of mental institutions, as we’ve discussed. I can’t say I’m excited. Again, I don’t want to be Joe Biden and then give you an answer do the exact opposite,” he told NBC News host Kristen Welker. .

Trump installed Wray as FBI director during his first term and recently announced his plan nominate Kash Patel to the position of FBI director.

“What I’m saying is, I certainly can’t be happy with him. Look what happened. And when I got shot in the ear, he said, maybe it was shrapnel. Where does the shrapnel come from? Does it come from the Heaven? I don’t think so. So we need someone who – you know, I have a lot of respect for the FBI.

Welker said Trump should fire Wray to make room for Patel.

“If Kash comes in, he’s going to take someone’s place and that someone is the guy you’re talking about,” Trump said.

Wray currently has a ten-year appointment, which started in 2017.

Wray could choose to leave the post voluntarily on his own before Trump’s inauguration, although he has not yet said whether he plans to do so. If Wray does not voluntarily resign from his position, Trump could become the only president in US history to fire and appoint two separate FBI directors.

Trump sent a message also to Harris backers during the interview.

“I’m going to treat you as well as I treated the biggest MAGA supporters,” Trump said, responding to a question about what he wanted to tell the people who didn’t vote for him.

“These people are so committed to making America great again, it’s simple. And I’m going to treat them the same way I treat MAGA. We will treat everyone well. We want success for our country, we want security for our country,” the president-elect added.
