President-elect Donald Trump Border czar has a “clear message” for sanctuary cities resisting the new administration’s stricter border policies: get on board or get out of the way.

Former Acting Director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement Tom Homan joined “Sunday Morning Futures” this week, where he laid out the new administration’s future plan to reduce illegal immigrant crime and make U.S. communities safer , despite the pressure of the blue city.

“You have San Diego writing legislation. You have Colorado and other states and other cities saying they’re going to stop us from doing what I’m doing. I want to send a clear message. If you let us in, prison, we can arrest the bad guy in the prison and in the safety and security of the prison. One officer could do that, but when you release a threat to public safety into the community, you endanger the community and put officers at risk. You are endangering the alien,” he told host Maria Bartiromo.

“Here’s what’s going to happen: you release that man into the community, I’ll send a whole team to look for the man in your community. And what’s going to happen? We’re going to find that man. And if we If we find that man find, there will probably be others who are not a priority. But if they are in the country illegally, they will also be arrested, because we are not going to tell an immigration officer if this (Biden) administration did that You are going to be an illegal one turning your back on an immigrant. As an immigration officer you have an oath to keep, so you force us in large numbers into a community where other non-priority aliens will be arrested.

“That’s exactly the outcome you don’t want, so let’s go to jail. It’s safer for everyone.’

Homan, who has been an outspoken critic of the Biden administration’s border policies, has vowed to tighten security and engage in mass deportations while scrupulously adhering to the rules. Trump’s rhetoric.

Blue city officials are less than enthusiastic about the mass deportation plan and are fighting back in several ways. The Boston City Council voted unanimously to double down on measures against Trump’s plans for mass deportations. Denver Mayor Mike JohnstonMassachusetts Governor Maura Healey and Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs, all Democrats, are among a group of others pushing back.

New York Mayor Eric Adams, on the other hand, has expressed his willingness to sit down with Homan to discuss ways to make the Big Apple’s streets safer for everyone.

The two will meet on Thursday. Homan said: “I am not surprised that Mayor Adams is coming to the table because I believe his primary responsibility is to protect his communities. I am shocked that other mayors and other governors would want to put up roadblocks. I cannot believe that an elected official doesn’t want to eliminate public safety threats from his community, but we’re going to do it with or without them.”
