Lauren Conrad meets fellow Laguna Beach alums for 20-year high school reunion

We can hardly believe it’s been 20 years since the seminal MTV classic Laguna Beach debuted and the cast celebrated at their official reunion.

“We had so much fun celebrating our 20th (!!!) high school reunion last night,” Lauren Conrad wrote via his Instagram story on Sunday, December 1. “Thank you @hotellagunaweddingsandevents for hosting us!”

She added: “Such a beautiful night!”

Conrad, 38, offered up additional views of her cocktail — whipped up with a decorative honeycomb — and photos from the event. She dressed casually in a beige jacket, black t-shirt and jeans, pinning a ‘Lauren Tell (Conrad)’ name tag on her lapel. The pin featured a class photo of her from the past.

Konrad, who is married to William Telalso reunited with Trey Phillips and Dieter Schmitz during a beach bash.

Conrad and her peers graduated from Laguna Beach High School in 2004. Their academic stint was chronicled in the MTV docu-series of the same name, in which they starred together Christine Cavallari, Lo Bosworth, Stephen Colletti and more.

The popularity of Laguna Beach load spinoffs titled The hills and The city about the presenters’ respective collegiate and post-graduate lives. All the actors kept in touch even though they went their separate ways.

“They’re all still my best friends,” Laguna Beachis Alex Murrell exclusively speaking Us Weekly in November 2022 “People think it’s crazy that you actually keep friends from high school. And I think that’s a really beautiful thing because it was such a small town that we all still keep in touch. jason (voter) ji just moved but before he moved i used to see him and his wife all the time.

Murrell added: “If we all settle into one room, it will be like no time has passed. That’s kind of the exciting part about (the show) coming back to (Netflix). Even though we don’t talk every day, it’s like no time has passed (when we do). … I just feel like it would be really fun to all be together.”

Lauren Olsonwhich passed from Alex H. on Laguna Beachnoted on us that he mainly keeps in touch with his former classmates through social media.

“I live in Santa Cruz now, so I’m not in Laguna anymore,” Olsen said at the time. “But I mean, if I see someone walking by or I’m in a group setting, it’s going to be nothing but love and hugs and memories.”

The following year, Cavallari, 37, echoed their sentiments during a January 2023 episode on her and Colletti’s “Back to the Beach” rewatch podcast.

“We’ve always been in each other’s corners, we’ve always been there for each other,” Cavallari said. “We’ve always looked out for each other, which I think is important.”
