Nominees will be announced Monday, Dec. 9, on CBSNews.com/GoldenGlobes and the CBS News mobile app at 8:15 a.m. ET. Ten exclusive categories will be revealed live at 8:30 a.m. ET on CBS Mornings.
Who is hosting the 2025 Golden Globe Nominations?
Actors Mindy Kaling and Maurice Chestnut will present the nominees in the 27 award categories. Kaling currently serves as an executive producer on Max’s The sex lives of college girls while Chestnut stars in the new CBS procedural Watsonwhich debuted on January 26.

Nicky Glazer will host the 82nd annual Golden Globes. Being a first-time host of the event, she was targeting a three-time host Ricky Gervais for advice.
“He said, ‘Be yourself.’ Do what you did in baking and use the method you used there. And remember that you are not one of them. You’re not a movie star, you’re not a TV star. You’re at the Globes, you’re a host and you’re a comedian and that’s your job,” she told GoldenGlobes.com in early December. “That was really refreshing to hear.”

Who will be honored at the 2025 Golden Globes?
While most nominees will have to wait until the evening to find out if they’ve won, two honorees know they’ll be taking the stage. Viola Davis is the recipient of the 2025 Cecil B. DeMille Award, while Ted Danson is the recipient of the 2025 Carol Burnett Award. They will first be honored at a gala dinner on Friday, January 3, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, before each gets a segment on the show on January 5.
