“Yesterday was a dream come true ✨,” Pina, 35, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, Dec. 7, along with two photos from her wedding to Banks, 26, the day before. “I finally got to marry my best friend. In front of our closest friends and family, we shared our eternal wedding where there was endless laughter and tears of joy as we danced the night away. True love is unconditional, kind, patient and most of all…forgiving.”
One photo showed Pina and Banks leaving the church after their wedding, while the second sweet photo featured the happy couple and two of their children. She concluded: “Here’s to the beginning of forever with you @itsjaylanbanks 🥂 I love you.”
Another photo shared via Instagram on Saturday confirmed that Pina is pregnant with the couple’s second child. “Mummy and daddy can’t wait to meet you baby,” she captioned a black-and-white photo of the pair in an elevator. In the photo, Pina rocks her belly while Banks hugs her from behind.

However, her relationship with Banks was tumultuous, with the couple first announcing their split in February 2023. via a shared Instagram post. “It is with deep sadness in our hearts that we have decided to end our journey as a couple,” they captioned the since-deleted post, according to And! News. “Although we love each other very much, we feel it is best to separate. Our bond as friends and family will never be broken. We ask for privacy at this time.
A month before announcing their split, Pina revealed that she had suffered a miscarriage. “Last night the Lord called our baby home,” she wrote via Instagram at that time. “Even though we understand God has a plan, our home is filled with tears and broken hearts. Rest in Heaven Jean Pina👼🏾 Mom and Dad love you so much❤️.”
Later that year, Banks appeared in an episode of “Relationships Matter” podcast where he claimed he was “groomed” by Pina in their relationship after her divorce from Guobadia.
“I was neat,” he said in the August 2023 episode. “She made it look like he was doing her wrong, and then she came to realize that now I’m on the other side – it’s narcissists. She was cutting my hair, saying, ‘He’s doing this to me,’ and I felt sad for her.”
“That’s what narcissists do, they care about making the other person look bad so that when you do something, you won’t feel bad about it because you feel like they’re treating that person wrong.”
