Teddy Mellencamp reacts to Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley’s feud

Teddy Mellencamp has thoughts of being involved Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsleyis The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills enmity.

“I mean, I think of course my name will be mentioned because they’re my friends,” Teddy, 43, exclusively said Us Weekly on Friday, December 6, at iHeartRadio 102.7 KIIS FM’s Jingle Ball. “Whether they show it or not is up to them, but I think these two have always had some ups and downs. “

She added: “I’m curious to see what happens as the season goes on.”

On Wednesday, December 2, the episode of RHOBAKyle, 55, and Dorit, 48, got into a fight during a cast dinner. Kyle nDorit probably shouted for failing to protect their show alum and real-life friend from a mean comment by BravoCon 2023. (Kyle was asked by a fan why she keeps “pushing Teddy on these women.”)

Teddy held a RHOBA diamond between seasons 8 to 10. She is now especially close to both Kyle and Erica Jane. In fact, on the premiere episode of her and Erika’s Diamonds in the Rough podcast earlier this week, Teddy confirmed that she had moved in with Kyle. (Teddy filed for divorce from Edwin Arroyave in November, while Kyle and Mauricio Umansky have been separated since July 2023)

Despite Teddy’s maintained friendships, she doesn’t have all the inside information about RHOBA production.

“It’s not like I’m sitting with Kyle and Erica … at breakfast or on a walk, like, ‘Okay, tell me what you shot today,'” Teddy explained to us. “But if something directly affects them in their lives, then of course we’ll talk about it – but the little things, I never know.”

She added: “I didn’t know that Dorit was going to fall and not brace herself twice in this past episode.”

In addition to reminiscing about Housewives moments on her podcast, Teddy has entered a new chapter in her life since her breakup. (Teddy and Edwin, 47, share three children together.)

“I think the biggest thing for me is just continuing to — I mean, nobody’s perfect — showing up and being authentic (through) the good, the bad and the ugly, but also trying to find as much more peace of mind,” added Teddy. “While having fun and growing and working as hard as I can and being a good mom.”

And no, Teddy has no regrets sharing all of this on her podcast or through social media.

“My response would be like, ‘I’m not getting paid to be on a TV show to do this anymore,'” Teddy said us of criticism. “And then Erica said, ‘You can’t say that. You are in the public eye. My answer is to listen to the latest Diamonds in the Rough podcast and then you will hear as much as you probably need to hear or want to hear. I just won’t share (much more), like the kids are involved.”

Regarding Kyle and Dorit’s friendship, the two women spoke separately us last month that they had not reconciled but they are hopeful for the future.
