Not long after, the ‘Saltburn’ actor’s Barry Keoghan deactivated his Instagram account it was rumored that there was cheating about girlfriend Sabrina Carpenter took to social media to explain his decision and ask for respect.
“I can only sit and take so much. My name has been dragged across the internet in ways I wouldn’t normally respond to,” he says. wrote on X. “I have to respond now because it is getting to a point where too many boundaries are being crossed.
“I have deactivated my account because I can no longer let this stuff distract from my family and my work. The messages I have received, no one should ever read. Absolute lies, hate, disgusting comments about my appearance, character, how I am as a parent and everything else inhumane you can think of.

“My character drag and everything that I’ve worked really hard for and what I stand for,” he continued. “Talking about being a heroin baby and growing up and getting my dear mother involved. Knock on my grandmother’s door. Sitting outside my son’s house and intimidating them. That’s crossing a line.
“Every day I work harder to push myself at every level to be the healthiest and strongest person for that boy,” he concluded. “I want to provide him with opportunities to learn, to fail and to grow. I want him to be able to look up to his father, to have complete trust in me and to know that I will support him no matter what. I want you to remember he needs to read ALL of this about his father when he is older. Be respectful to everyone.

A representative for Keoghan did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
On Thursday, Carpenter surprised fans at the premiere of her Netflix Christmas special when rumors swirled about her relationship with Keoghan.

The “Taste” singer appeared in good spirits while promoting “A Nonsense Christmas,” despite online rumors that her relationship with Keoghan ended due to infidelity on the Oscar-nominated actor’s part.
Influencer Breckie Hill, who has 4.3 million followers on TikTok, fueled the infidelity rumors repost a video on the platform.

The video included a message from gossip account DeuxMoi, which read: “On the closing night of her biggest tour to date in LA, he was busy getting cozy at San Vincente Bungalows with a blonde, semi-famous, LA-based influencer (who is especially big on TikTok).

“I did a little poking around out of curiosity and apparently he and his pop star girlfriend called it quits very suddenly, less than a week before her final shows in LA, after she found out he had been dating said influencer behind her back for months chatting was not innocent at all.”

An insider confirmed that the two are taking a break after first sparking romance rumors in December 2023.
“They are both young and career-oriented, so they have decided to take a break,” the source told People magazine.
