“I’m most excited about the cohesiveness of the holiday season,” Curry, 35, exclusively reveals in the latest issue of Us Weekly. “The kids’ activities have kind of gone down and so they’re at home a lot more and we can take care of that over the holidays.”
Aisha and husband Stephen Curry share four children: daughters Riley, 12, and Ryan, 9, sons Jack, 6, and Caius Chai, 7 months. The couple welcomed their little ones back in May. Aisha notes that the couple the newest bundle of joy is “very soft” and “sweet”.
As the Curries adjust to celebrating the holiday season as a family of six, they don’t hesitate when it comes to incorporating baby Caicus into their offspring’s traditions in new ways. One particularly special thing the parents have up their sleeve is getting Caicus to “hum” the songs the family records each year, a new tradition they started recently.
While Aisha loves to implement new rituals for the holiday season, she also has her tried and true family customs. Once the holidays roll around, for example, Ayesha runs out of steam when it comes to that her decorations. While the real or faux tree debate is a contentious cultural debate, Ayesha weighs in on what works best for her.
“Although I would like to have a real tree, I’m not good at taking care of that real tree,” she admits. “I prefer the fake tree route (and) leave the lights on it every year.”
When it comes to choosing decorative lights for the holidays, Ayesha doesn’t think you have to limit yourself to white or colored lights—in fact, she goes for both. One tip she has is to use Command hooks, which she’s been doing for ages, for optimal light setup.

This holiday season, Ayesa has teamed up with Command to bring to life new holiday decor trends that include classic white winter wonderland, monochromatic red, colorful holiday whimsy and more. One big mistake she encourages fellow decorators to avoid is not drilling holes in their walls.
“I’m excited to partner (with Command) to shine a light on how easy the products are to use,” she says us. “(Plus) how festive you can make this beautiful holiday season without worrying about ruining it.”
When it comes to the family Christmas tree, Ayesha isn’t a fan of sticking to one particular theme or using traditional tinsel.
“The tinsel reminds me of my childhood, which was a fantastic but hot mess,” she jokes. “I’d rather take my command hooks and put a wreath on the wall or get some ornaments out … you can keep the tinsel.”
In addition to decorating, Ayesha and her family also partake in classic holiday movie viewing, which includes favorites like Home Alone, Last Vacation, and This Christmas. When it’s time to get cozy and curl up on the couch, her family is all about matching Christmas pajamas and overalls. However, you won’t catch Aisha in an ugly holiday sweater.
“I love seeing them on social media and on other people,” she says. “But not for me.”
As for Aisha’s favorite holiday drink, she’s a huge fan of eggnog.
“I love him very much. it’s funny I shouldn’t actually have that much dairy, but they make a lot of dairy-free eggnog that tastes very similar,” she explains. “So even vegans can dive into the world of eggnog and enjoy this spirit.”
