Man United target Milos Kerkez is being chased by Real Madrid

Real Madrid are expected to be active in the transfer market next year and have already set their sights on Manchester United.

The arrival of new manager Ruben Amorim will bring new players to the club, players who can play the style of football that the Portuguese manager is trying to develop at the club.

One of the players Man United have on their shortlist is Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez.

Due to Luke Shaw’s ongoing injury problems, Man United are targeting a move for Kerkez.

The Red Devils are likely to sign a new left back as early as the January transfer window.

However, they will struggle to sign Kerkez now as they will have to compete with La Liga and Champions League winners Real Madrid.

According to Real Madrid Confidentialthe La Liga side want to sign the Bournemouth defender in order to strengthen their left-back options.

Kerkez has impressed with his performances at Bournemouth and his versatility, defensive solidity and ability to contribute in attack make him an attractive option for top clubs looking to strengthen their full-back positions.

Real Madrid, in particular, could be interested in strengthening the left-back position, where Ferland Mendy has struggled with injuries and younger talents such as Fran Garcia are still finding their feet.

It is clear that both clubs are keeping a close eye on his progress and his potential move could set up a transfer battle between the two European giants.

Manchester United are desperate for a new left-back

Man United’s problems at left-back are evident as not only Shaw but Tyrell Malacia have also struggled to stay fit.

The Red Devils have mostly used a right back instead of a left back. Diogo Dalot.

Real Madrid’s interest is not good news for Amorim’s side as the La Liga giants usually get what they want in the transfer market.

The Red Devils will be buoyed by the summer signing of Leny Yoro, for which they had to beat Carlo Ancelotti’s side and they did so successfully.

Kerkez is one of the best players in the world at his position right now and for a player of his age, there is still a lot of room for improvement.
