Teddy Mellencamp leans on Kyle Richards after her separation from her husband Edwin Arroyave.
The The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills The alum, 43, revealed that she lives part-time with Richards, 55, at her Beverly Hills home, while she and Arroyave, 47, spend time at their marital home with their children.
“They know we’re separated, we’ve filed for divorce. Nests,” Mellencamp said in the premiere episode of his new podcast, “Diamonds in the Rough”, landlord from RHOBAis Erica Janeon December 5, Thursday.
“In some places, you can just file for divorce … in California, there’s a six-month cooling-off period,” Mellencamp continued. “During these six months you can do many things. The way I learned about nesting was through one of my good friends, she’s a divorce coach. She told me about nesting. This is where the children stay (in the matrimonial home) and the parents come and go.”
Jane, 53, then asked Mellencamp how she and Arroyave shared custody of their three children: daughters Slate, 12, and Dove, 4, and son Cruz, 10.
“I can’t explain our exact moment. But both Edwin and I leave when the other sleeps,” Mellencamp explained. “We can both be there for sporting events … we’re perfectly happy to be around each other.”
Mellencamp went on to reveal that when she’s not in the house, “I live with Kyle.”
“I saw you filmed in the glam room…that’s my bedroom now, bitch!” Mellencamp joked to Jane, describing the upstairs bedroom she’s staying in. “It’s so cozy.”
Mellencamp added: “Fortunately, Kyle allowed me to do this. This is how you know there are real friendships to be made (on reality TV). I thought, “Am I going to find a place to live?” I just zip it up, it’s close, easy. She cooks. Sometimes. We are just getting started. We’ve been at it for a while now.”
“It’s working out really well for the kids – we’re just around the corner and it’s all on the calendar. They know exactly when I come and go and vice versa,” she continued.
Mellencamp announced her split from Arroyave on November 2.
“After much care and consideration, I have made the difficult decision to file for divorce,” Mellencamp wrote on Instagram. “My priority is my children and ensuring that every care is taken of their privacy and well-being in this new chapter.”
She added: “Making a public statement is not something I wanted to do, but in an effort to protect my family from unwarranted speculation and rumours, I felt that being open, honest and vulnerable was the best way forward.”

“Simon and Teddy had a thing a few months ago, but it’s still not happening,” a source exclusively said usnoting that Teddy and Edwin were unfaithful to each other during their marriage.
A second insider claims Arroyave spoke to Schroeder’s wife, malewho “confirmed the affair.”

Mellencamp break his silence on the Nov. 14 episode of her “Two Ts in a Pod” podcast after news of her alleged affair made headlines.
“I’m sure everyone has seen it all on the world wide web,” Mellencamp said. “What I can say, which I try very hard to say … there are many sides to every story.”
She then stated, “I’m not going to confirm or deny anything.” Mellencamp noted, “But there are a lot of people involved.”
