Arne Slot Receives Apology from Amazon Prime After False Accusations

Liverpool and Arne Slot have received an apology from Amazon Prime after a member of the broadcaster’s team made false allegations about the Dutch manager’s behavior at half-time of the Reds’ game against Newcastle.

The clash at St James’ Park on Wednesday gave fans one of the games of the season with two teams playing out a 3-3 draw.

The comment was made by presenter Dan Walker during the show and was put to Newcastle manager Eddie Howe, who responded by saying via The Athlete: “I don’t think I’ll go there. I think it’s a can of worms. I tend to focus on my team.”

According to The AthleteAmazon Prime has apologized to Slot with the situation acknowledged by both parties as a production misunderstanding. The matter is said to be considered closed by Liverpool after accepting the broadcaster’s expression of regret.

The Dutchman is currently focusing his team on their game against Everton on Saturday, which will be the final Merseyside derby at Goodison Park.
