There is also the possibility that Arsenal could decide to offload Oleksandr Zinchenko and Gabriel Jesus, with well-connected former Premier League detector Mick Brown expecting the former Manchester City duo to be in Arteta’s box.
“There are three players at the club they would like to sell,Brown told Football Insider.
“And they are Gabriel Jesus, Zinchenko and Kieran Tierney. It’s not in the manager’s plans.
“When it comes to sales, you have to look at what your assets are. We know there is interest in Saliba, for example, but I think he is one of the last players they would ever consider selling for any kind of money.
“If they feel they have to raise money, they have these players they’re much more likely to turn to. This will take a big chunk out of the wage bill and help them reinvest in strengthening their squad.
“Sometimes the way it works is you have to let some fringe players go, collect some money from them and then replenish the team with new backup options.”

Arsenal are not willing to let Kiwior go on loanhowever, and will only open with a green light for permanent exit.
This is echoed by Sky Sports Italia reporter Luca Marchetti, who told Radio Marte (via Area Napoli) that Arsenal are in talks with Napoli over the sale of Kiwiorwith Arteta’s side making it “known” that they are willing to sell but not lend.
“Kiwior can arrive on loan, while Danilo can be bought by sale? We confirm that both negotiations are there, but they are not simple.” Marchetti said.
“Teams that have interesting players don’t loan them to you at the beginning of the market and those who buy focus on the needs of those they sell, looking for those who may be playing less at the moment.
“The work of the association is to make Kiwior understand that he could have more space at Arsenal, but they are not giving him. The Gunners, for their part, have made it known that they are willing to sell but not to loan.”
