
America has talent alum Kabir “Kabizi” Singh died at the age of 39.
TMZ announced Thursday, Dec. 5, that the comedian died Wednesday, Dec. 4, and law enforcement is awaiting the results of a toxicology report to determine Singh’s cause of death.
Singh’s fiancee later confirmed his death people.
Singh reportedly had a history of health issues and officials believe he may have died of natural causes, according to TMZ.
Singh reached the semi-finals on NBC America has talent season 16 in 2021 before being eliminated. Wizard Dustin Tavella ended up winning the season.
“It is with the deepest regret to inform everyone that Kabir Singh has passed away,” the comic’s friend, Jeremy Curryshared via Facebook on Thursday. “He passed away peacefully in his sleep and this is the most devastating post I have ever posted… Services will be Saturday December 14th at 8:30am @ Chapel of the Chimes in Hayward… Please keep his family and fiance in your thoughts and prayers….I love you bro.”
During his semi-final performance at AGTSingh was buzzed by only one of the show’s judges: the creator Simon Cowellwho said it “wasn’t too great and I just thought that by making noise for you it somehow made the game better in a weird way” Daily Mail they announced then.
Fellow judge Howie Mandel said that comedy is a difficult talent and that there is a lot of pressure. Heidi Klummeanwhile told Singh that there was something about him, but quickly joked, “I’m married, that’s not going to happen, but you’re very cute.”
