Business magnate Elon Musk said in a post on X that it’s “hard not to like” Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa.
“He puts country before party,” Musk added.
He made the comments following images of Fetterman in which he said he admired Musk, who is “involved in very important parts of American society”, such as artificial intelligence and SpaceX.
Fetterman said Musk “is on a different team, but that doesn’t make me an enemy.”

The Democratic Senator said Musk “made our economy and our nation better.”
Rep. Derrick Van Orden, R-Wisc., fired back at Musk on X.
“Bulls —. It’s hard not to like what @SenFettermanPA says, it’s easy to hate how he actually votes. Don’t fall for this.”

Newly elected President Donald Trump has given Musk and former presidential candidate of the Republican Party the assignment Vivek Ramaswamywho identifies himself as a “small government crusader” working at the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
The two entrepreneurs want to put Washington DC’s wasteful spending in the spotlight.
“If we don’t tackle the exponential growth of the national debt, there will be no more money for anything, including essential services!” Musk warned in a tweet.
In one Wall Street Journal In their op-ed last month, they noted, “We will serve as outside volunteers, not as federal officials or employees. Unlike government commissions or advisory committees, we won’t just write reports or cut ribbons. We will reduce costs.”
Ramaswamy and Musk met with lawmakers in DC on Thursday.

“Great conversation today with @elonmusk about his goals for the @DOGE. I look forward to working together to improve government efficiency and get America back on track,” Republican Senate Majority Leader-elect John Thune said in a Thursday post. on X.
“Excellent discussion on solving the sovereign debt crisis,” Musk responded.
