Jesse Solomon was ready to rock — and date — during season 9 of Summer house.
“The first summer I went into it not knowing anything. I just wanted to make friends with everyone and have a good time,” Jessie, 29, exclusively said Us Weekly on Tuesday, December 5, during the promotion Labcorp OnDemandnew test menus. “I realized that not everyone always wants to be best friends and always have a good time.”
after learning his lesson in season 8 Jesse said he changed his mindset for season 9, which was filmed last summer.
“This summer I went into it with a little bit more of an experienced (approach),” he explained, revealing, “I was open to dating, I think more so this summer. Whereas the first summer I was just trying to be friends with everyone.” He added with a laugh, “So it must be fun looking back, huh?”

During his debut season, Jesse was relationship with girls in the Hamptons after going out with various women during the week in New York. He also flew by the seat of his pants and he partied hard.
“I’d say the worst thing I did (in Season 8) was they didn’t even show up,” Jesse admitted. “The first night I went to a party with everyone and I kind of just wandered into the party by myself and everyone hated me for the first three weeks, but they kind of gave me a pass for it.”
While he said us he was more focused on actual dates this season—and not pleasing everyone—he wouldn’t kiss and tell. “See you,” Jesse confirmed. “You’ll definitely have to check it out Summer house to find out my connection status.’
Teasing that he really “let it fly” last summer, Jesse noted that he’s “not perfect and sometimes I have too much fun,” but it makes for good TV.
After all, he’s only concerned with what the women in his life think of his reality TV antics.
“I’m not worried about what people will think of me, except my mother and my dear grandmother,” he admitted. “So as long as they still love me, I really don’t give a (ass) what other people think.”
Having his grandmother watch him on TV can have its downsides, though. “I told (Grandma) to maybe take a little time off for some of (my) Season 2,” he quipped. “She says she turns the volume down when she’s not in a scene with me because she’s usually watching Hallmark. Summer house is a bit aggressive for her so she will be fine. She will love me no matter what.

Jocelyn Prescod/BravoIn addition to taking her love life a little more seriously this season, Jessie said the house has seen a positive change due to Lindsay Hubbardpregnancy. (Lindsey, 38, announced in July that she expecting her first baby with her unnamed friend.)
“It was fun. She was very motherly. She was sober, obviously. so poised,” he recalls of Lindsey’s behavior in the Hamptons. “I always cook and clean in the morning. She brought me coffee, iced coffee, almost every day.
The reality star added that Lindsey has been “amazing” and “great” to him all summer.
Outside of Summer houseJesse focused on his health, celebrating six years cancer-free in 2024. As part of his wellness journey, he teamed up with LabCorp OnDemand to highlight their test menu, which includes more than 70 tests that help patients stay on top of their health, hormonal health, healthy eating and more.
“I partnered with LabCorp OnDemand because I believe in the importance of preventative care and that regular checkups are really the key component to staying healthy,” explained Jesse to us. “Awareness is really everything, and catching anything that’s going on early is really the best way to prevent something bad from happening.”
He noted that although it tests “regularly” for testicular cancer, the LabCorp OnDemand website has even more options for men’s health.
“It’s just a great convenient way to establish a baseline of your health,” Jesse said. “It’s a lot more convenient than going to the doctor and saying, ‘Oh, I want to check my heart. Let me go to a cardiologist and get a referral, and then I’ll be billed anyway.”
He added, “With LabCorp OnDemand, you just go online, buy the same test you would get from your doctor, and you can do it at home for some of the tests, or you can go to a LabCorp location on demand. It’s that easy.”
