From Buck and Eddie on 9-1-1 of Benson and Stabler Law & Order: SVUthere are plenty of fictional couples—or near-couples—that deserve our attention this fall TV season.
Benson (Marishka Harghitay) and more stable (Christopher Meloni) might seem like an obvious choice, but it’s been almost 25 years and fans are still waiting for something more. The fictional couple share the screen after the show premiered on NBC in 1999. (we like to block that 10 year hiatus) and every year the question comes back: will or won’t shall we get together?
“We’re keeping it open. We’re very careful with the story and we want to make sure it’s handled the right way, and that takes a lot of thought and we’re still on the journey,” Hargitay exclusively said Us Weekly in May. “I’m not thinking about the endgame yet.”
Hargitay remained open-minded about where the story could go as Meloni went on to direct his spinoff series Law & Order: Organized Crime.
“That’s the thing about being in a marathon. I feel like (with) SVU, I’m still in the race, I’m still in the marathon, and I have a long way to go before the finish line,” she noted. “So I think what’s best and what’s healthiest. What is permanent and what is best for the moment.”
Meanwhile on CBS’ Georgie and Mandy’s first marriageGeorgie (Montana Jordan) and Mandy (Emily Osment) probably stay together when the show is named after them. However, fans aren’t so sure as the first marriage could hint at future splits between the sitcom couple.
“I hope I’m the ex and the new wife,” Osment said TVLine in May. “People get divorced and remarried. Why can’t it be both?”

Morgan and Karadek (“High Potential”)

The ABC series features Morgan (Caitlin Olson), as she is still searching for answers about what happened to her first husband. These little obstacles can’t stop real chemistry, and that’s exactly what Morgan and Karadek say (Daniel Sunyata) have as soon as they meet on the show. So even if they can find Morgan’s ex, he might as well be from running now that Karadec is here.
Rupert and Taggy (“Rivals”)

Fortunately, Disney and Hulu have now been renewed Rivals so fans need not worry after the first season ended on a high note with Rupert (Alex Hassell) and Tags (Bella McLean). The romantic age gap was a major reason why viewers tuned into the show – and we hope the fictional couple will have plenty of time to get together.
Sister Megan and Father Charlie (“Grotesquerie”)

It’s not just sister Meghan (Michaela Diamond) and Father Charlie (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) are of the same faith—though that certainly helps. The couple made a good match because both love serial killers and their religion and question their purpose in the world.
There’s nothing like a whirlwind romance to clear them up vexing existential questions for their loyalty to the Catholic Church.
Joan and Noah (“Nobody Wants This”)

The first season of Nobody wants that ended with Joan (Kristen Bell) and Noah (Adam Brody) as a couple — and they should stay that way. Fortunately, the show is based on Erin Fosterromance with husband Simon Tikhmanmeaning the odds are in favor of Joan and Noah.
Georgie and Mandy (“Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage”)

As soon as CBS announced the title of its Young Sheldon spinoff, us worried about the future of Georgie and Mandy. The first mention of marriage doesn’t sound like a good omen for the duo, but the cast have since expressed their hope that Georgie and Mandy will exchange vows several times in the series.
Bobby and Emmett (“Happy’s Place”)

NBC knew what they were doing, casting Reba’s real-life friend to play her co-star Happy’s place. Now that Bobby and Emmett (Rex Lynn) are in such close proximity that viewers have no choice but to root for them to come together.
Colter and Billy (“The Stalker”)

Colter (Justin Hartley) may reunite with someone from his past aka Camille (Floriana Lima), but we still have hope that Billy (Sofia Pernas) is his future. with Pernas screen return is confirmednow all that’s left to do is wait and hope that the exes find their way back to each other permanently.
Pippa and Diana (“Tell Me Lies”)

Tell me lies he didn’t give us a lot of time with Pippa (Sonia Mena) and Diana (Alicia Crowder), but it’s clear that they’re the couple to root for. It helps that they’re one of the few — if only — couples on the show who they are not toxic and unhealthy for each other.
Bode and Gabriella (“Land of Fire”)

Based on the official Season 3 trailer, Gabriella (Stephanie Archilla) wedding may be interrupted by a helicopter crashand if this is not a sign from the universe to abandon Diego for Bode (Max Thieriot) then what is it? Bode and Gabriela are the eldest an obstacle was his prison sentencebut now he’s a free man—and we’re running out of excuses why these two shouldn’t be together.
Sarah and Kira (“Matlock”)

The only information about Sarah (Leah Lewis) love interest is that she exists. However, Lewis was able to give us a glance at what’s next for sarah and her dating life.
“We’re not necessarily talking about Sarah’s journey to finding out she’s gay. We kind of catch her in the middle where she’s been gay for a while. Or she came out as gay for a while,” Lewis teased in September. “It’s a known thing, and it’s not something that we bring to the forefront of her personality, even though it’s very much the fabric of her being.”
She continued: “For Sarah, she’s not nervous about her sexuality at all. But I think her as a person, she really doesn’t have time for women (when she meets Kira).”
Benson and Stabler (“Law & Order: SVU”)

24 years have passed since then Law & Order: SVU premiere on NBC — and yet here we are. Olivia and Elliot’s search has never been more real, so while Hargitay and Melony are ready to bring the characters to life, Us is here to finally come together.
At this point, just put the fans — and the actors — out of their misery causing Olivia and Elliot to kiss on the screen.
Buck and Eddie (‘9-1-1’)

Another couple that isn’t really a couple (yet), Buck and Eddie always feel like it they are on top of something more. Their friendship has never been stronger, and with Buck now bisexual, the progress feels pretty significant. Romance may not be Eddie’s top priority, but we’ve waited this long. What’s a few more episodes?
The Core 6 (“Foreign Banks”)

Season 4 details on Foreign banks are largely kept secret. However, it has been confirmed that John B (Chase Stokes) is still with Sarah (Madeline Klein), while JJ (Rudy Pankov) and Kiara (Madison Bailey) flourish and the Pope (Jonathan Davis) and Cleo (Carlasha Grant) are an official couple. No matter what this new treasure hunt brings them, none of the three main couples are allowed to break up. you hear usNetflix? There isn’t. on. them.
Dr. Max and Sister Avery (“Dr. Odysseus”)

Max (Joshua Jackson) and Avery (Philip Su) hit pause on their chemistry during Doctor Odysseusseries premiere. Luckily, fans know how these things go, so give it a few more episodes before Max fights for his heart after their co-star Nurse Tristan (Sean Thiel) revealed his sseemingly unrequited feelings for Avery.
Yancey and Rose (“Bad Monkey”)

One kill brought Yancey (Vince Vaughn) and Rose (Natalie Martinez) together and hopefully it will stay that way as they continue to solve the case. While Yancey’s ex Bonnie (Michelle Monaghan) still seems to be in the picture now and then, there is just something between Yancey and Rosa i feel it can go the distance.
