Sophia Bush gives tempting up-to-date potential information One Tree Hill revival.
It was in August reported that Bush and Hilary Burton Morganboth 42, are developing a series sequel to the hit WB/CW drama, which ran for nine seasons from 2003 to 2012. The stars later confirmed the news via Instagram.
“It’s a shame when development news leaks out early… it’s a bit of a bummer for us as we wanted to get it across the finish line and then have a party,” Busch told Access to Hollywood in an interview on Wednesday, December 4, noting that the project is still in the development stage. “But I will say that the process is really amazing. The fans kept this show alive and wanted it for so long, and then the studio approached us about it.”
“I think 10 years ago I would have said, ‘Not on my life.’ Now I realize that being able to have not just a comfortable show, but kind of a home base is important to people,” she continued. “So starting to figure out how we can tell these stories and bring our whole ragtag group back together feels really, really amazing.”
Bush teased: “If it happens, I think you’ll be very pleased.”
