Wednesday night was a big moment in Lenny Yoro’s career as the 19-year-old made his Manchester United debut away to Arsenal, who has a huge future at Old Trafford.
The French talent was one of United’s biggest signings of the summer as the Premier League giants agreed a £52m deal with Lille for his services, beating like Real Madrid and Liverpool at defender
However, Yoro’s start to his Manchester career got off to a horror start as the centre-back broke his metatarsal in a pre-season friendly against Arsenal in Los Angeles in July.
The 19-year-old has been back in training in recent weeks following the operation and the youngster finally made his debut on Wednesday night against Arsenal. Yoro came off the bench to replace Harry Maguire with 59 minutes left at the Emirates but was unable to prevent his side from losing 2-0 to the Gunners.

This was a huge moment for the youngster and everyone at the Manchester giants expects the French talent to have a very successful career at Old Trafford under Amorim.
Leny Yoro is the future of Man United
After his debut at Manchester United, transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano revealed how crucial Yoro is to Ruben Amorim’s Old Trafford project.
The journalist has stated that the youngster is mentioned in “every internal meeting” the Portuguese coach has with his staff, who see the former Lille star as the club’s future and a very smart signing made in the summer.
Romano goes on to say that Yoro’s playing time will be managed in the coming weeks to avoid any injury as Amorim prepares the 19-year-old to become a key player.
