Children of celebrities who made their debut at Le Bal des Debutantes in Paris

Le Bal des Débutantes is the chance for Hollywood and the world’s elite to introduce their favorite daughters to society.

Le Bal, as it is informally known, was first organized by Ophelie Renoir in 1958 It aims to celebrate “excellence, female empowerment and harmony between debutantes and gentlemen from around the world,” according to a statement on social media.

Since then, many stars have watched with pride as their offspring were named debutantes. For example, an Oscar winner Gwyneth Paltrowapple’s daughter was due in November 2024.

“My beautiful daughter at @maisonvalentino,” Paltrow, who shares Apple and her son Moses with her ex-husband Chris Martinwrote then via Instagram Story.

Angelina Jolie and other A-listers have passed down their favorite fashion clothes to their children. Apple wowed in a blue strapless Valentino custom dress that took on a designer Alessandro Michele over 700 hours to make. The atelier also created special looks for Paltrow, Martin and Moses to wear at the event in Paris.

“Last week was like a dream and I’m so grateful to have so many beautiful memories from this adventure,” Ava wrote on Instagram a few days later. “Giambattista Valli is a dear friend and he makes beautiful designs, so we were happy and so honored that she got to wear his dress.”

She added: “I’m so excited to have had the opportunity to meet so many beautiful, kind, supportive and passionate young women (and men!) at Le Bal. I also feel so privileged to be involved in this event knowing that it raises money for both the Institut Seleni and Enfants d’Asie, two organizations supporting very important causes.”

Steve HarveySteve’s stepdaughter also made her debut in 2017. Laurie, who is the daughter of Steve’s wife Marjorie from a previous relationship, wore an embellished black dress.

Sofia Stallone
