Marcus Rashford praised Ruben Amorim’s influence on Manchester United’s “happy” players after he scored twice in the new manager’s first Premier League victory in his tenure.
Striker Rashford scored his first goals at Old Trafford since March to help the 20-time champions extend their seven-game unbeaten run after Erik ten Hag was sent off with a 4-0 win over Everton.
“It’s come at a very busy time but hopefully we can continue to develop the link and continue to go from strength to strength,” Rashford told Sky Sports.
“He’s come in with a great attitude and that’s passed on to the players. We are happy. Playing in this historic stadium is always an amazing feeling.
“We want to find consistency in the way we play and in our results. This is the main focus. It’s early, but I feel energized and ready for the next game.”

Manchester United results
United have won three of their opening 12 games of the season in the Premier League and Champions League, heralding the end of ten Haag’s sporadic reign after more than two years.
Their upturn in form began with three wins and a draw under interim manager Ruud van Nistelrooy before Amorim earned a draw in his first game for the club last Sunday, Rashford scoring in the second minute of the 1-1 draw at Ipswich Town.
The former England international came off the bench and missed a chance in Thursday’s 3-2 home win over Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League, but started against the Toffees, tapping in Bruno Fernandes’ first-half corner before tapping over Amad Diallo. pass within 30 seconds of restart.

Arsenal – Manchester United: Rashford optimistic
They now face their toughest test under the Portuguese at Arsenal on Wednesday (8.15pm GMT), when victory could take them up to sixth.
The second-placed Gunners are six points above United and have won three games in a row in all competitions, including a 5-1 away thrashing of Amorim’s former club Sporting in the Champions League.
“We have to build on that performance and hopefully win in the week,” Rashford said, calling their latest win “a good result”. “This is the goal of all of us. Even when you’re at your best, you have to push and improve.”
