Sébastien Lecornu, the French minister of the armed forces, also confirmed the incident and wrote on X that emergency services responded to the scene.
“Somewhat injured, they were taken for healthcare,” he wrote. “Thanks to the mobilized emergency services, thoughts for our pilots of the patrol de France.”
Quentin Brière, the mayor of Saint-Dizier, said that one of the jets in a silo and the other in a swampy wooded area just behind him, according to The ParisianWith reference to AFP.
