LSG Playing 11 vs. Delhi Capitals- IPL 2025, Match 4


Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will open their campaign on IPL 2025 by taking over Delhi’s capitals (DC). The game is scheduled to take place on Monday (March 24) in Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy Aca-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam.

Lucknow Super Giants will launch a new trip this season. After Kl Rahul led to their first three times, the Lucknow -based outfit has a new captain for IPL 2025. They will be guided by the former Capitals Capitals Rishabh Pant.

Lucknow Super Giants made the pants the highest paid player of all time in the latest auction and hopes to guide them on their first title. After qualifying for the playoffs in the first two seasons, LSG lost a top goalkeeper last season.

They will try to start the new season with a win. And in front of their game against DC, we take a look at the LSG playing 11.

Open: ARSHIN KULKARNI, Mitchell Marshin

Arshin Kulkarni and Mitchell Marsh are expected to be the two open to Lucknow Super Giants playing 11. While Aiden Markram is also a good opening option, the LSG is unlikely to include it until their Indians are fully recovered from their injuries.

Kulkarni played two games for Lucknow Super Giants last season, but couldn’t hand over the bat. However, he was impressed in the domestic circuit and was Maharashtra’s top scorer in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2024.

Marsh is more experienced and the weight will be on him to ensure that Lucknow Super Giants starts well. Australian Allrounder is about to play this season as Batsman only because of the back issues and will look to hand over the bat.

Middle -class Batsmen and Allrounders: Rishabh Pant (C, WK), Nicholas Pooran, Ayush Badoni, David Miller, Abdul Samad, Shahbaz Ahmed

The Rishabh Pant will launch a new trip to IPL this year. After playing for Delhi’s capitals from his IPL debut in 2016, Pant is going to play for a different team for the first time. It also has the additional responsibility of the team’s leadership.

Pant has dropped the class that has fallen into India’s limited period teams in recent years and will have a point to prove this season. He was DC’s highest scorer last season and now he will look to drive the Lucknow Super Giants from the front.

Nicholas Pooran will undoubtedly be the most important Batsman in LSG playing 11. Western India star can launch any team on his day and Lucknow Super Giants will hope to deliver them firmly this season.

Ayush Badoni will be another crucial player in Lucknow Super Giants playing 11. The right Batsman has the ability to anchor innings as well as play big plans when the situation requires. He has played 42 IPL games so far and scored 634 runs at a strike over 130 years, including four fifty.

David Miller and Abdul Samad will be the other Hitters Pinch in LSG playing 11. Miller has a great experience playing on IPL and LSG will hope that the South African veteran will meet expectations. He played a huge role when Gujarat Titans won the title in 2022 and will look to make a similar impact on LSG.

Shahbaz Ahmed is going to be one of the main All-Rounders in Lucknow Super Giants playing 11. Impressed with the bat while playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad and will look to hand over again.

Bowlers: Rajvardhan Hangargekar, Ravi Bishnoi, Shamar Joseph

In the absence of many basic pellets, bowling can be a weak link for LSG. Mayank Yadav, Mohsin Khan, Avesh Khan and Akash Deep recover from injuries.

In their absence, Rajvardhan Hangargekar and Shamar Joseph are expected to be the fast bowlers, while Ravi Bishnoi is going to drive the rotation attack.
