Extra and Harry Hamlin discussed their parental tactics of daughters Bell and Amelia Gray When the topic of his previous arrests appeared.
“I went to prison,” recalled the 73 -year -old Hamlin during Friday, March 21, an episode of their “Let’s not talk about a husband” podcast. 61 -year -old Rina replied, “I forget why you went to prison. Twice for a pot?”
“Yes, you know, I’ve never liked a weed. I’ve never smoked it,” Hamlin said. “I don’t remember buying a weed ever in my life.”
However, “every time” Hamlin was around anyone who smoked weeds, especially in college in 1973, there was an incident that included the authorities.
“I was arrested with them or for some reason,” he said. “I was arrested for sleeping on the beach in Hamptons, after which the cops found a cockroach in the sand, and they arrested all of us and threw us in prison.”
Previously, he was handcuffed at San Francisco Airport in 1970.
“An upper -grader at My Brothernity House gave me some pills to take to the USC during the exam period,” Hamlin recalled. “These were fast to allow people to say awake so they could take their exams. The cops found things in my guitar case and arrested me for possession of drugs for sale. I watched a three -year sentence in the penitentiary. This is another story.”
Hamlin said he spent “like 18 days in prison or something” elsewhere in a podcast.

Hamlin’s third arrest took place on Hawaii’s beach because his friend smokes marijuana. (It is unclear when this incident happened.)
“I was from the water looking at the water and he was arrested,” Hamlin said. “Since I was with him, I was arrested.”
Rina, horrified by these revelations by her husband, said she had never been arrested.
“You are arrested three times for drugs. Everyone thinks you should be a drug addict. I don’t even remember buying drugs,” Hamlin continued. Rina added, “Harry, after these podcasts surely, they will think we are full of drug addicts. By the way, both.”
