A federal court ruled on Wednesday in favor of the Trump government, after a non-profit organization funded by the government has filed a lawsuit that protected itself against “continuous destruction” of the Department of Efficiency of the Government (Doge).
The US Institute for Peace (USIP) submitted a request for a temporarily limiting command (TRO) on Tuesday and claimed that DOG had committed literal violation and takeover with violence … from the head office of the Building Institution Avenue Institute. “
The organization also accused the anti-waste initiative of ‘continuous destruction of the physical and electronic property of the Institute’.
“Being the defendants and are currently involved in behavior that the Institute will cause irreparable damage that will prevent the institute from performing one of its legal functions and will probably destroy it in full,” the court case stated.

“I think there is confusion in the complaint that makes me uncomfortable,” said Howell.
“I would say that I am very offended by how Doge had surgery at the institute in the treatment of American citizens … But that concern about how this has decreased is not one that can influence me in the consideration of factors for TO, what is emergency aid, which is exceptional,” she went on.
Howell, who was appointed in 2024 as senior judge of the American court for the District of Columbia, also said that “she was mainly concerned about the chance of success.”
“Two of the most important tests, which are likely to succeed in relation to the merits and will probably suffer irreparable damage, are only a piece here,” Howell added.
