An investigation is underway after an unmanageable passenger has reportedly attacked another passenger On a Delta Air Lines flight From Atlanta to Los Angeles, the Federal Aviation Administration confirmed.

A spokesperson for the airline shared a statement with FOX News Digital and confirmed that they worked with law enforcement agencies and have “zero tolerance” for this kind of behavior.
“Delta has no tolerance for unmanageable behavior and collaborated with law enforcement authorities on the study,” a spokesperson for Delta Air Lines shared in a statement.

Neither the airline nor the FAA shared what happened, or if the passenger were confronted with criminal or civil fines.
The Los Angeles fire brigade shared with KABC TV that the crew on board the flight stated that an adult man should be stopped after biting one passenger and touching others.

Officials added that an ambulance brought the unmanageable passenger to the hospital for a psychological evaluation and later returned to investigate a passenger he had injured, reported the exhaust.
The FAA said that Airlines have reported More than 1,800 unmanageable passenger incidents in 2024.
One of those incidents included an “unmanageable” passenger on board a flight from Cincinnati to Las Vegas, on December 23, who had to be diverted to Kansas City, Where the passenger was removed.

So far, according to the website of the FAA, more than 300 of these types of incidents have been recorded in 2025.
“The FAA strives for legal enforcement measures against any passenger who attacks, threatens, intimidates or interferes with crew members of the airline and can propose civil fines up to $ 37,000 per violation,” the agency said.
