Senator Chuck Schumer, DN.Y., was asked on Tuesday during “The View” if it was time to go aside as a senate -remedy leader, to which he responded firmly with “no”.

Co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin noticed the criticism he received from his fellow democrats and said: “Some progressive members of your caucus, the house Caucus, are not with you. Jasmine Crockett asked your leadership, Hakeem Jeffries has a question about your coordination about the other direction.”

“Do you believe that the party has faith in you to continue to serve as a leader? And if someone who influenced Biden’s decision to step aside, do you think it’s time for you?” she asked.

“No,” Schumer replied. “We have a lot of really strong talent in the Senate, in the house, in the governors, we have a big bank. But with regard to the Senate Caucus, of which I am the leader, I should be the leader.”

Schumer’s leadership was questioned by frustrated Democrats and liberal-leaning media votes after he has voted to support a Republican Expenditure Act. Schumer argued that although he did not agree with the bill, the consequences of a government closure if the legislation had not been adopted, were Eventually worse for Americans.

Schumer told ‘The View’ co-hosts that he was very good at winning senate seats.

“I am a strategist, in terms of recruiting candidates, helping the candidates to conduct and win campaigns. Look, win in 2026 in the house and the Senate, which Trump can stop once and for all, is vital,” he said.

The senator compared himself with an orchestra leader.

“I am a kind of orchestra leader and I have a lot of talent in that orchestra, so what I do is show them. We have great spokesmen, people like Chris Murphy and Brian Schatz,” he said. “I will tell you one thing, we are completely united in one thing, many things, but one thing in particular, we are united in attracting Trump and showing the American people that he has the middle class pay for tax cuts on the rich.”

Co-Gastheren Ana Navarro and Sunny Hostin Were very critical about Schumer’s support for the GOP finance account on Monday.

“I think whatever you exist about things, and I think again this was a fight that had to happen, and it didn’t happen because of Chuck Schumer. If you think about it, Republicans would have had that government shell. They have control over everything, and it would have been completely on their backs, and I am not only in this opinion,” Hostin said.

Navarro said she did not bought Schumer’s reasoning to vote to support the bill.
