President Donald Trump Now speaks with Russian President Vladimir Putin about the end of the war in Ukraine, the White House said.
The call, which started at 10.00 am, is “good and still underway,” said the White House spokesperson, then Scavino at 10:54 am et. It comes after Trump said last night that “many elements of a definitive agreement were agreed, but there is a lot left.”

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday that the two leaders would speak about the War in Ukraine But that there are a “large number of questions” about normalizing the relationships between the US and Russia, according to the Associated Press.

Spokesperson Tammy Bruce of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Tammy Bruce said on Monday that “the ball is now in the Russian court” to accept a strike-ranging-the-attack that Ukraine agreed last week.
The proposal supported by the US, including an immediate 30-day ceasefire and guaranteed resumption of American military aid and information to Ukraine, was completed last week during diplomatic conversations in Saudi Arabia.
“Ukraine expressed the willingness to accept the American proposal to set up an immediate interim 30-day ceasefires in the conflict of Russia-Ukraine. The ball is now in the Russian court,” said Bruce during a briefing from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The last time Trump and Putin spoke was mid -February.
“I just had a long and very productive phone call with President Vladimir Putin from Russia. We have discussed Ukraine, the middle, energy, artificial intelligence, the power of the dollar and various other topics,” Trump said at the time.
“We both thought about the great history of our nations, and the fact that we fought together so successfully in the Second World War, remembering that Russia lost tens of millions of people, and we have also lost so much!” Trump continued.

“We each talked about the strengths of our respective nations, and the big advantage that we will ever have in collaboration. But first, as we were both, we want to stop the millions of deaths that take place in the war with Russia/Ukraine,” he also said.
