President Donald Trump will encourage illegal immigrants to “self -refer” from a newly announced app from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) from the US, Axios reported Monday.
Trump sends the message in a video that is released on social media platforms this week and calls on illegal immigrants to use the BP Home app to announce their departure from the country. The DHS The app unveiled Earlier this month after the removal of the CBP app from the BIDen era, which was used to allow migrants in the US
“People in our country can be deported in the easy way, or they can be deported in the hard way, and that is not pleasant,” says Trump in the video.
“The BIDEN administration has exploited the CBP One-app to enable more than 1 million alien beings to enter the United States illegally. Now my administration is launching the CBP Home app to give people in our country an easy way to leave now and voluntarily leave,” he continues.

“If they do that, they will have the opportunity to return legally in the future in the future, but if they do not use this opportunity, they will be found. They will be deported, and they will never, ever, ever be admitted to the United States,” Trump adds.
Trump further says that the use of the CBP Home app is the “safest option” for both illegal immigrants and law enforcement, in addition to allowing law enforcement to concentrate on the persistent and deportation of illegal immigrants convicted of violent crimes.
With the CBP Home app, illegal immigrants enables “to submit the intention to leave” and to submit information about their intention to leave the US.

The Trump administration has quickly moved to expand deportations and has also cut the number of migrants that enters the US, including through humanitarian conditional release, which have dramatically expanded under the Biden administration.
Trump ended The use of the BP One app to have migrants conditional on its first day. His administration has also paused and permitted ICE for conditional conditional programs to cancel the conditional status of migrants.
