Jonas, 35, posted a TikTok on Monday, December 2, which showed the unanswered message. It appeared last December and featured a selfie of Jonas saying “I miss you.”
“Last December I sent Timothée Chalamet a message from my friend’s phone expecting a reply,” he captioned the image.
On the next slide, he posted another selfie with the text: “This December he still hasn’t messaged me. Hope this helps!”
Jonas fans seem to be keeping him safe.
“I totally understand how you feel, Joe. I’m also waiting for a response from Timothée Chalamet,” one fan wrote.
“He’s just thinking of a good answer,” added another.
A third pointed out what many fans were probably thinking, writing: “At least you have his number. I have to do it through Instagram.
But Jonas doesn’t even have Chalamet’s number. He responded to this post admitting, “I don’t have his number, my friend has his number hahahaha.”
To be fair, Chalamet, 28, has had a busy year – he could be forgiven if his answer slips. The actor released Dune: Part Two in March and stars in forthcoming Bob Dylan biographical film, Complete obscurity.
In July, he agreed to participate Marty the Supremein which he will portray a fictional version of a table tennis professional Marty Reisman. The film began principal photography in September and is on track to become A24’s most expensive film to date.
And that’s all while trying to keep rconnection with Kylie Jennerwhom he started dating in 2023.
“Kylie and Timothy hang out frequently and communicate regularly,” a source close to the couple exclusively said Us Weekly in July. “They’ve been on a few dates recently, but they always do their best to try and stay under the radar as much as possible.”
Jonas didn’t exactly back down either. He is working on his second studio album, Music for people who believe in lovewhich was originally planned for October before he decided to postpone while he continued to add the finishing touches.
He and Sophie Turner finalized their divorce in September. The couple have daughters Willa, 4, and Delphine, 2.
“After a productive and successful mediation, we have agreed that the children will spend equal time in loving homes in both the US and UK,” the pair announced in a joint statement on September 5.
