Format, timetable and play for each Confederation as UEFA participates in the party


The story will take place in the next year’s World Cup, with three countries hosting the first 48 teams.

The conditions for the finals in North America have long been for five of the six confederations.

However, as domestic football takes a back seat for a short moment, UEFA will join the party, as some European teams, including England and Belgium, will begin their way to qualifications.

So it’s the perfect time for a crash course on how the qualifications work for each confederation and how many teams will send to the refurbished tournament.

AFC

The Asian Confederation will see eight groups meet the requirements directly for the finals.

The AFC qualifying is six games in the third round, with the other 18 teams competing in three teams of six. The first two teams in these teams will qualify for the World Cup, with the third and fourth place going into a quarter round.

In the fourth round, which begins in October, these six teams will be divided into two teams of three, with each team holding their spot in the tournament.

The two second-class teams will face each other in a two-legged playoff in November for a position in the playoffs of the international process.

The third round will be completed in June. Iran and Japan are already sure of at least one place in the fourth round, but could secure a point in the finals during this international window.

Caf

The certification process in Africa is simpler. Nine teams of six teams challenge a round Robin in the launch. The nine winners of the teams qualify for the World Cup.

From there, the four-legged runners-up runners will compete in a playoff, with the winner moving on to the playoffs of the International Director.

The first round, which is still in relatively early stages with four games, will be completed in October, with the playoffs taking place a month later.

Cone

Three Concacaf teams are already sure of their World Cup with the United States, Canada and Mexico that are due to host the tournament. There are 30 groups competing to claim one of the three points to unite them.

The Concacaf qualifying is in its second round, which will see the first and second teams from six teams five advanced in the third round after four round Robin matches.

The 12 teams moving in the third round will be divided into three teams of four for double round Robin matches. The three winners of the teams will hit their World Cup ticket, while the two top runners will head to the playoffs of the international director.

Each side has played two second round matches at this point. The next such lighting will take place in June, three months before the start of the third round.

Box

The beauty of Conmebol’s qualification process is its simplicity, with 10 teams playing 18 double round Robin games against each other.

The top six qualify for the World Cup, with the seventh team moving on to the playoffs of the International Manager.

The defense of Argentine champions is in the seat seat to qualify, having garnered 25 points from 12 games to lead the ranking, although La Albiceleste faces Chile and Brazil’s opponents in this round of the games.

Conmebol Conmebol will be completed in September.

Ofc

The smallest confederation is guaranteed only one place in the finals and the identity of this qualifying will be known next week.

Ofc is in the third and final round of qualifications, the process completed with a playoff of three matches between the four remaining teams.

On Thursday, New Caledonia will face Tahiti and New Zealand will take over Fiji, with two games taking place in Wellington. The two semifinals then travel to Auckland to face a place in the World Cup next Tuesday. The loser will proceed with the playoffs of running.

New Zealand is obviously its heavy favorites, their last defeat in the RC World Cup since 2008, when they lost 2-0 to Fiji.

Uefa

UEFA has the highest distribution of teams for the enlarged finals. Sixteen teams from the European Confederation will qualify for the finals.

Fifty -four teams were drawn to 12 teams of four or five, with team winners securing qualifications.

Dozens of team runners-up and the four best UEFA Nations League teams that did not end in the top two in their qualifying team will be transferred to a playoff form of the second round.

The teams will be pulled on four Play-off trails with semifinals and finals with single legs. The winners of the four trails will qualify for the World Cup.

GL teams start in this window, with the rest after the suit in September. The first round ends in November before the second round playoffs to take place next March.

Playoffs with the intersection

The six teams proceeding with the Inter-Confederation playoffs will challenge a single elimination tournament next March.

The four lower teams will be vague and will face each other in the semifinals and the winners of these bonds will each take a team with a place in the World Cup in the line.
