President Donald Trump said he will talk to Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday about the last points of a deal to end the war in Ukraine.
In a post on his social social platform, Trump said that many ‘elements’ of the final agreement’ have been agreed ‘but many remains’.
“Thousands of young soldiers and others are killed. Every week 2500 people kill by soldiers, from both sides, and it has to end now,” Trump wrote. “I look ahead to the call with President Putin.”

Some points of discussion could hold back territorial concessions from Kiev and control the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.
The Trump government has worked on a deal to end the three -year war. The Russian deputy -Minister of Foreign Affairs Alexander Grushko reportedly said that the Kremlin wants an “iron” guarantee North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
Last week, secretary of the White House Karoline Leavitt Reporters said that “we have never been closer to peace”, while the US is waiting for Russia’s answer to a cease-fire agreement of 30 days.
Earlier in the week after a meeting with American officials in Saudi Arabia, Ukraine accepted the deal, provided that Moscow connects to the plan.

Ukrainian president VolodyMyr Zenskyy has called for harder sanctions against Russia and accused Putin of trying to drag the peace talks away to extend the war.
“It is clear to everyone in the world – even for those who refused to acknowledge the truth in the last three years – that it is Putin who continues to drag this war,” wrote the Ukrainian leader on Monday on X. “Putin has not been able to squeeze ‘yes’ against the dispute proposal.
He called on world leaders to put Moscow under pressure to end the conflict.

“The unconditional ceases -the proposal proposal is essentially about saving lives, so that diplomats can work on guaranteeing security and a permanent peace -the proposal that Russia ignores,” he said. “Pressure is needed to finally accept Moscow that their war must be terminated.”
