Tom Homan uses the Constitution to defend President Trump who calls the Alien Enemies ACT

Border Czar Tom Homan turned the tables on a reporter after he was questioned about the Alien Enemies Act used by the Trump government.

To appeal to dangerous migrants, President Donald Trump called the Alien Enemies Act from 1798, who makes deportation of residents and citizens of an enemy nation possible without a hearing. This law was invoked three times, during the war of 1812, the First World War and the Second World War.

As a result, all Venezuelan citizens aged 14 or older who are members of the Venezuelan gang, the Aragua (TDA), who are in the United States and are not attributed, or legal permanent inhabitants, can be held, detained, secured and removed as “alien enemies,” according to Trump’s procamation.

“What do you say to those who claim that you are using a 200-year law to bypass the right process?” A reporter asked Homan Monday.

“An old law?” Homan asked. ‘Not as old as the Constitution. We still pay attention to that, right? “

Homan then started shaking his head and walked away from the couple of reporters.

The Alien Enemies Act of 1798 was founded 227 years ago, while the Constitution of the United States was ratified about ten years earlier in 1788.

Rep. Wesley Hunt, R-Texas, welcomed Homan for the confrontation and noted that the exchange speaks volumes.

“It is ironic that the left screams about the constitution … until we start to maintain,” he wrote.
