The expenditure account has been adopted, 62-38, so that a government closure was dismissed.
“In a long, long time I have not seen an unpretentious anger,” said the Democratic employee Charlotte Clymer to Polico, adding that “Senator Schumer in it has succeeded in uniting us much more than Trump has in recent months.”
A democratic senator who spoke to polico anonymously said that Schumer’s plan was poorly conceived.
“There is a lot of concern about not having a plan and implementing it,” said the senator. “It’s not like you couldn’t find out that this is what was going to happen.”

Early during the press conference, Jeffries was asked if it was time for new leadership in the Senate, to which he answered: “Next question”. Jeffries gave the same answer when he was later asked if he “had lost confidence” in Schumer.
The Top House-Democrat was immediately interviewed twice about Schumer during a hastily announced press conference to emphasize their opposition to the Public Financing Act of the Republicans.
Schumer’s office did not immediately respond to a request for comments from Fox News Digital.
