A Judge in Michigan Trying to have Walmart shelves, offer free carwashes for their punishment, but the plan was canceled by a senior lawyer.
Judge Jeffrey Clothier, who was chosen in January in the 67th district court of Genesee County, said that require no fewer than 100 shoplifters caught stealing a local Walmart to wash cars for free, would serve the community and possibly discourage others from the retail giant.
Clothier said that the plan for “Walmart Washing” that he had thought last month had the support of shop managers in the Walmart in Grand Blanc Township. Walmart -Hoofdkwartier in Arkansas supported the idea, but said that the car wash could not be offered on shop ownership, so the judge believed that he could just find an alternative location for the car wash, which he wanted to take place in the spring.

“I don’t think everyone who steals is a bad person. Sometimes people are just on their luck,” Clothier told The Associated Press at the time. “But there will be consequences when you break the law.”
“I think it will be humiliating to wash cars there when you see someone you know,” he said. “I will wash cars with them there.”
But the main judge William Crawford II has now canceled Clothier and said that the junior lawyer should first ask him for approval and others Hofflativees.

“This is in particular the case where the proposed alternative punishment deviates from the usual and accepted methods,” said Crawford on Friday in a statement and added: “” Walmart Washing “will not take place as reported.”
Clothier said he was upset by the Crawford’s statement, although he still wants to come up with new and unusual forms of punishment for the shoplifters.
“I am frustrated,” said Clothier. “I’m still going to try to come up with a creative way to solve this problem.”
