The Vikings have an opening for an experienced Quarterback after last year’s starter, Sam Darnold, signed with the Seattle Seahawks. However, Minnesota also has former Michigan National Champion JJ McCarthy, the first round of the team in the 2024 design.

Rodgers, at the age of 41, is not considered a long-term solution for each team.

Famous NFL agent Leigh Steinberg, who has negotiated contracts for several Hall of Fame Quarterbacks, told Fox News Digital that he presents Minnesota as a “positive fit” for Rodgers at this stage in his career, mainly because of the presence of McCarthy as a potential protégé and the team that is suitable for winning to win.

“So you have to have a situation in which, because Aaron may play at best, maybe another year, maybe another two years, but it’s not a permanent solution, so it’s a solution for one or two years,” said Steinberg. “So he could go to a team that is really good, but the last little piece needs to bring them over the top, and he could guide a younger Quarterback.”

Steinberg also believes that a team without a chance to win in the short term without a young quarterback in his selection would not be so good. The Giants are a team that matches that fungus. The Steelers may have had a winning record last season, but are not Shoo-In to be good again this year. They also don’t have a young project Quarterback.

“A team that is really dissatisfied with their quarterback that takes him would not be so positive about a solution,” said Steinberg.

If Rodgers eventually gets an offer from the Vikings and signing with them, he would follow an almost identical career path to that of his predecessor of Green Bay Packer, Brett Favre. Just like Favre, Rodgers played the vast majority of his career at the packers and won a super bowl before he was traded to the New York Jets. Favre then spent his last two years on the Vikings.

Favre gave Rodgers advice and encouraged him to sign with the Vikings during an interview at the “The Will Cain Show” by Fox News Channel Tuesday.

“In any case, you sign with them,” said Favre. “They have a very good football team. They were loaded on almost every position. They made the play -offs last year. They got a great fan base, just like the packers. If you get the chance, that’s a good place to win.

“Of course you have to play the packers.”
