Arne Slott hailed Mohamed Salah after the Egyptian scored a goal in Liverpool’s thrilling 3-3 draw with Newcastle in the Premier League.
The slot team twice came from behind at St James’ Park thanks to Curtis Jones and Salah before the Reds’ top scorer gave Liverpool the lead with seven minutes of normal time remaining.
However, Fabian Schar found the net deep into second-half stoppage time to rescue a point for the hosts.
Alexander Isak and Anthony Gordon scored the other goals for Eddie Howe’s side.

Much has been made of Salah’s future in recent weeks, with the player and the club yet to agree a deal over a potential contract extension that would see him stay at Anfield beyond next summer.
But the Liverpool boss was quick to praise his star’s consistency.
“Every time we need him (Salah) he scores an important goal,” Slott said.
“So far this season and hopefully it can continue for a long time.
“After the assist he gave and we reached 1-1 he was excellent. Apart from the goals he did more special things for us. Excellent performance from him in the second half as well.”

Newcastle boss Eddie Howe also appeared full-time hopeful.
“I feel positive,” Howe said.
“I feel very positive. I thought it was a much better performance than us.
“You know the quality they have off the bench. When Trent (Alexander-Arnold) comes in with his creativity, we knew we were going to have a potential problem.
“But I thought our mental quality came through because we hung in there and got a deserved equaliser.
“We scored three goals. I thought we looked dynamic, athletic and played with a lot of quality.”
