Arsenal leader Michael Artita believes that Myles Lewis-Skelly’s rapid rise should act as inspiration for other young players.
Lewis-Skelly made his debut in the first team in September and just six months later it was Today he called on the highest team of England for the World Cup qualifiers against Albania and Latvia.
The 18 -year -old has made his left position in Emirates with a series of impressive performances, and Arteta was pleased to have been recognized.
He said: “We’re all really, really happy because it’s a very nice story and a story that gives many hopes to many new players and that in six, seven months your career can change dramatically, dramatically for good. So it’s something for people to be inspired by. I think it didn’t happen.
“Very proud. Very proud of him. It’s a huge moment for him and the club. One of our graduates who receive the call for England is a huge thing, so happy. ”

Don’t compare Lewis-Skelly with Nwaneri-Arteta
Another Arsenal teenager, Ethan Nwaneri, is also expected to call, but he lost this time and was named instead at Under-21.
Arteta is sure that Nwaneri’s time would come, but it insisted that it was important that Lewis-Skelly was also able to make progress separately.
He added: “Any comparison there I don’t think it’s right. I think they have a very similar path, because apparently they have played together for so many years, but after that they will have different times and each career will be unique and individual for them and they will have to win it out or what they do or what they do is not going to do so.
“It’s great. It’s a luxury to have someone you spend so much time, trust and love next to you on this trip. Use it in this way. This is and the rest is a way away.”
Chelsea game will be difficult, says Boss Arteta
Arsenal faces Chelsea on Sunday by looking to build their mid -week progress in the Champions League and claim the Premier League first win in a month.
Arteta knows that it will not be easy, however, against the side of Enzo Maresca.
He said: “I think two teams who want to be very dominant in the way of the game, are very aggressive in the high type and the way we want to have the ball. A lot of individual quality on this stadium, so it’s about imposing what you want and the direction you want to get in.
Arsenal won the corresponding 5-0 component last season, but Arteta does not expect a repetition.
“I think it will be a very different game,” he said. “I think the way they have been developed and as a team is very impressive, what they have done to coaching staff, the amount of talent they have in the team. So yes, a very tough race.”
