Last week the Tigers had their Senior Night celebration, but one commentator tried to joke about Dunne and said she would be a senior “for the next 10 years”.
Dunne posted a one -minute video with the comment and tore it to fragments.

“I really don’t understand what is so hard to get,” she said. “I came to the university in 2020, was awarded a fifth year because of Covid and I came back for the fifth year. I only see this comment about the messages from female athletes. Why do you care if I come back for a fifth year and have another year of suitability?”
Dunne could have ended afterwards, but she provided the proof of how normal it is for athletes who competed in university for a fifth year.
Thin used LSU Quarterback Garrett Nussmeier as an example. He starts his fifth year with the Tigers after his first -year year.
“Football and basketball players Redshirt and take fifth year all the time,” Dunne added. “The starting Quarterback from LSU football is coming back for a fifth year. This comment is nowhere to be found on his account.
“People who comments these kinds of things were of course never a university athlete or never loved a sport. So you are not funny. Why do you care what I do with my life? Please stop.”
Dunne also ensured that she gave up her athletic stock market to allow another gymnast while she competes in her last year.

Dunne is the best zero earner for ladies in the country and the fourth total earner with an estimated appreciation of $ 4.1 million with her partnerships, according to ON3.
She was also launched “The Livvy Fund” in collaboration with LSU’s official NIL collective to help more female athletes “create more opportunities” for zero deals themselves “, while the importance of bringing zero funds for women in university sports.”
Dunne was a WCGA All-American from 2024 and appeared in nine encounters for the Tigers while participating in the bars and floor events. She recorded a career-high 9,900 last year in the floor event in the Podium Challenge and in the NCAA Fayetteville Regional Second Round. Dunne also placed a season-best 9,875 on the bars in a meeting on the Podium Challenge.
LSU is number 2 in the country this season, but during Senior Night, Dunne revealed that she could not compete due to a knee injury.

Unfortunately I have had to deal with an avulsion fracture of my patella and I can’t compete on Senior Night,” Dunne posted in an Instagram story. “It definitely breaks my heart to not get the chance to compete one last time in the PMAC.
