A date has been officially set for the Philadelphia Eagles’ Witte Huis Visit with President Donald Trump to celebrate last month’s Super Bowl.
White house Pers secretary Karoline Leavitt announced on Tuesday that the team will visit on 28 April.
Leavitt also took over a shot on reports whether an invitation would be sent after what took place in 2018.
As the 45th President of the United States at the time, Trump withdrew his invitation to the Eagles after their victory of Super Bowl on the Patriots after some players said they would not have been present.

This time Trump acknowledged that he wanted to get the Eagles to the capital of the nation to celebrate, and that is exactly what will happen.
“I know that there was many fake news about an invitation that was not sent or sent. We want to correct the record: We have sent an invitation. They enthusiastically accepted and you will see them here on 28 April,” said Leavitt during her daily lettering from the White House on Tuesday.

Eagles Captain Lane Johnson said that a visit from the White House would be a “team decision” after they won the Super Bowl.
