Chris Pratt Remembers a life -changing moment that waved him to “close deals with God” to save his son, Jack.
Jack was born early in 2012 and weighed only 3 pounds, 10 grams. During a recent appearance on “Fox & Friends”, Pratt explained that his position on faith changed at that time.
“The most impactful moment was when my son was born. He was born early and had a number of health edge, and at that moment I really closed some deals with God, like you when you pray, and I felt that if you save my son, I will give you everything.”

“I’ll give you my life. I’ll give you my platform. I will not be ashamed of talking to you or talking about you. And he saved my son, and I have tried since then to make up for that promise, “said Pratt.
Pratt and his ex-wife, Anna Faris, welcomed Jack in 2012 and have continued to co-parenting since their split in 2017.
“I really closed some deals with God, as you do when you pray, and I felt that if you save my son, I will give you everything.”
Pratt went on to get married Katherine Schwarzenegger In June 2019 after a meeting in the church. The mother of Schwarzenegger, Maria Shriver, helped to set the two and they eventually married during a ceremony in Montecito, California. The couple welcomed their first daughter, Lyla, in August 2020.
The author and “Guardians of the Galaxy” star Welcomed their second daughter, Eloise, in May 2022.

Pratt told “Fox & Friends” host Ainsley Earhardt that it is a “difficult time” to be a child with smartphones and the increase in fear they can cause.

“It’s a difficult time to be a child, and the arrival of the smartphone has created a lot of fear in young people,” he said.
Pratt, who recently announced his partnership with the Hallow -prayer app, said that smartphones “go nowhere”, but they can be used to learn more about Jesus.

He explained that the app can help people in the “routine” of prayer and “attract the armor of God every day.” The app, which is also supported by Mark Wahlberg And “The Chosen” star Jonathan Roumie, consists of 365 podcasts that will bring listeners through the Bible within one year.

“It can be very difficult to understand, contextualize and understand,” he said about the Bible. “They are doing very well to break it in bite -sized pieces, to read and then explain what has just been read.”

For Lent, Pratt explained that he gives up sugar and social media.
Lent is 40 days of prayer, fasting and almsgiving that starts on ASH on Wednesday and leads to Easter.
