Leaders Liverpool travel to Newcastle in search of an eighth straight win in all competitions.

Arne Slot’s Reds are nine points clear at the top of the Premier League after champions Manchester City became the latest victim of their impressive form this season in a 2-0 win at Anfield on Sunday.

A trip to Tyneside is never the easiest, although Newcastle have managed just one win in their last nine.

Curtis Jones returns to the starting lineup as he replaces Dominik Szoboszlai as Alexis Mac Alliser and Ryan Gravenberch form the midfield.

Luis Diaz also comes off for Darwin Nunez, who is flanked by Mohamed Salah and Cody Gakpo, who were on target against City.
