Former NFL star who walks back and Tennessee State Main football coach Eddie George changes area codes. George has agreed to the next coach of the Bowling Green Falcons, according to several reports.
Sources told ESPN that the university is expected to officially announce George’s arrival on Sunday afternoon. George’s decision comes shortly after reports appeared and the school said an offer extended To the four -fold Pro Bowler.

Bowling Green held an interview with George on Friday, according to ESPN.

George’s term of office at TSU is in line with a trend of NFL greats that held head coaching jobs to historic black colleges and universities (HBCUs), before the jump makes to a school that competes at the FBS level.

Dion Sanders was called the head coach in Jackson State in 2020. He left after the 2022 season in favor of the head coaching job at Colorado.
In the meantime, the former Atlanta Falcons star Michael Vick was recently named the next head coach in Norfolk State and the Desean Jackson will coach the Delaware State Football team this next season.
