A case of measles was detected in Florida for the first time in 2025.
A student at Palmetto Senior High School tested positively for the disease, according to local sources and public schools in Miami-Dade County.
Superintendent Dr. Jose Dotres tackled the measles store in a press conference on Thursday and noted that the vaccine rate at the school is 99.7%.
