A second flight from Charlotte, North Carolina, returned in the same number of days after reporting a mechanical problem shortly after taking off.
Delta Air Lines Flight 3067 left around 10:15 am on the way to Atlanta Hartsfield International Airport from Charlotte Douglas International Airport, the airline told Fox News Digital.
Minutes after the flight, the mechanical problem was reported and the plane returned to Charlotte.

“After safety procedures, the cockpit crew from DL3067 returned to Charlotte after reporting a mechanical problem while he was on his way to Atlanta,” said a Delta spokesperson. “We apologize to our customers for the delay in their travel plans.”
None of the 71 passengers and five crew members were injured, said the airline.
The passengers were booked on other flights to Atlanta.

Airport officers said the pilot ended the “emergency situation” as soon as the plane landed, Queen City News reported.
The plane was in the air for 1 hour and 26 minutes and landed back in Charlotte at 3.19 pm
The airline told the socket that the plane was returned due to a “maintenance” problem.
