Virginia Gouverneur Glenn Youngkin seems to follow a promise to help federal employees find new employment after their job was reduced by the Ministry of Government Efficiency of Doge.
The Republican governor has announced a new website to help them find work in the Virginia government on Virginiahasjobs.com.
“We care about you,” said Youngkin in the main center of the capital in McLean. “And we have a support system to help you find that great opportunity.”

The new website is described as a “federal employees Support for the resource package. “Youngkin says the site was designed to help federal employees transfer to new roles if they” experience work evidence “.

Democrats in Virginia have found that they believe that Youngkin supports the president and does not defend Virginians.

Virginia is the home of one of the largest population of federal employees with more than 144,000, according to a December 2024 congress report. That number increases considerably when you add commuters that work in Washington, DC and Maryland, rising to more than 300,000.
