Cristiano Ronaldo apologized after Al Nassr’s game with Al Wehda delayed due to traffic, before the legend promoted and won a 2-0 win in the Saudi Pro League.
Ronaldo, who allowed Sadio Mane’s teammate to get the delayed sentence, spoke after the match that started late.
The coach of the Al Nassr team did not arrive on the pitch up to nine minutes after the scheduled start, causing the delay.

“It was a difficult game. The first half was difficult because we made a trip for three hours on the bus due to traffic and the roads were closed,” Ronaldo told SSC Sports.
“I want to apologize for Al Nassr’s behalf for the start of the game late. This should not happen again. Sorry.
“We started very well, but in the second half we were a little better. We fixed our problems and scored two goals, so we’re happy.”
Ronaldo said the team’s focusing on both the league and the AFC Champions League Elite, where they face Esteghlal Tehran in the last 16 on Monday.
“Play per game, we must build trust again,” he said.
“We have to do it again we have to win. To win, win and see what happens.”
Ronaldo drives the championship list with 17 goals this season, one in front of Al Ittihad’s Karim Benzema.
