The Premier League has returned for some mid -week action as we head to March and four games offered to start the process on Tuesday.
Brighton and Bournemouth met for a huge conflict in Amex with both sides chasing a Champions League this season and seeking to keep up with the teams around them.
While in southern London, Oliver Glasner’s Crystal Palace rejuvenation welcomed Aston Villa, also trying to end at the top of the Premier League this season.
In the meantime, Fulham traveled to wolves, who are not yet safe from relegation, while cottagers can receive a rare campaign in Europe.
And Chelsea hosted under Southampton in what could only be regarded as a confidence enhancer for the blues.

Brighton secured a tough battle of 2-1 against Bournemouth at AMEX Stadium, with the delayed strike by Danny Welbeck the decisive factor.
The Seagulls started strongly and took the lead in the 12th minute, when Joao Pedro turned into a sentence, awarded after Kepa Arrizabalaga who went down to the Brazilian in the box.
Brighton continued to create chances, with Kaoru Mitoma hitting the post and Georginio Rutter seeing multiple attempts to block. However, Bournemouth is also threatened, with Antoine Semenyo forcing Bart Verbruggen in a key except for the break.
After half time, Bournemouth pushed for an equalizer and rewarded in the 61st minute when Justin Kluivert released a stunning long -range strike in the top corner.
The cherries grew up with confidence, with James Hill and Marcus Tavernier going close to the late stages.
Brighton’s manager Fabian Hurzeler responded by entering Welbeck and the move immediately. Just a few minutes after joining, Welbeck leaned over to Rutter’s via the ball and finished the distant post in the 75th minute, restoring the lead of Seagulls.
Bournemouth pushed for a delayed equilibrium, with Kluivert and Luis Sinisterra testing Verbruggen, and even Kepa ran forward for a corner of the last Gasp, but was a goal they would not find.
Niki lifts Brighton as they continue their strong form at home in 2025, while Bournemouth’s undefeated route is coming to an end, despite the spiritual performance.

Crystal Palace produced a sparkling performance to overcome Aston Villa 4-1 in Selhurst Park.
The first semester began slowly, with little chance of opening 15 minutes. However, the palace broke the deadlock in the 29th minute, when Ismaila Sarr fell into a recovery from Chris Richard’s header at home.
Villa believed they had equated through Morgan Rogers, but the target was excluded for offside after VAR control. The palace was holding a 1-0 narrow halftime.
Villa came out stronger in the second half and found their equalizer in the 52nd minute when Rogers stayed in an Ollie Watkins that fell before he finished Dean Henderson.
However, the palace responded quickly, with Jean-Philippe Mateta restoring their lead just seven minutes later after a clever dismissal by Eberechi Eze.
Sarr then doubled in the 71st minute with a stunning volleyball in the far corner. The villa pushed for an answer, but their Palace denied any clear opportunities.
The hosts sealed the victory in a break when Eddie Nketiah was replaced, hit a low cross from Tyrick Mitchell to make it 4-1.
The faithful of Selhurst Park broke out for the celebration, as the palace expanded their impressive shape under Oliver Glasner.

Fulham secured a 2-1 win over the wolves in Molineux, with quick starts in both halves that prove the main difference.
Ryan Sessegnon opened the scoring just a few minutes in the match, ending Jose SA cool, after Andreas Pereira is completely weighted through the ball, dividing the wolf defense.
Despite the premature regression, the wolves responded well and found an equalizer in the 19th minute. Rayan Ait-Nouri’s dangerous cross caused Fulham box destroying, allowing Joao Gomes to release a strong strike beyond Bernd Leno.
After a uniform balance of the first semester, Fulham again hit early in the second period. Rodrigo Muniz stayed in a wonderful pass by Adama Traore and executed a pleasant chip over the Onrushing SA, placing the guests back in front of the 47th minute.
The wolves pushed for another equilibrium, enjoying long occupation spells and creating several half odds. Matheus Cunha and Gomes came close, while a crucial block from Doyle prevented Pereira from expanding Fulham’s lead.
As the game entered the interruption time, the wolves continued to push, but did not have the cutting edge to break. Fulham saw the closure moments, securing three valuable points on the road.

Chelsea gave a dominant show as they relaxed Southampton with a 4-0 win. Enzo Maresca’s side took control early and never looked back in front of a pleasant crowd at home.
The discovery came in the 24th minute when Christopher Nkunku reached the back home after a move from Tosin Adarabioyo. Chelsea doubled their advantage just more than ten minutes later, with Pedro Neto mourning in the Nkunku passage before shooting in the nearby post.
The hosts added a third shortly before the half, as Levi Colwill increased higher to reach Neto’s pinpoint, Aaron Ramsdale.
The Blues finally destroyed their dominant appearance in the 78th minute, when Tyrique George took Marc Cucurella, who shot the penalty area from the penalty area to make it 4-0.
Southampton offered little attack, with the best opportunity to fall on Paul Onuachu, whose header was refused by Filip Jorgensen.
It was a professional and polished performance by Chelsea, who continue their push for a top finish.
